ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES DIVISION
Our vision is "An environment where the air, food, land, and water is safe and free of contamination to benefit and protect the health of all citizens." We believe that we will be successful in the pursuit of our vision by focusing on our mission, "To successfully deliver services to the community of Saginaw County for the protection and promotion of quality health while enhancing the environment through structured regulatory activities, education, and management of the environment. To deliver these services in an atmosphere of confidence and trust through persistent and continual promotion of the positive benefits of sound public health policies and regulations."

This division is responsible for the administration and enforcement of Federal, State and Local laws, codes, and ordinances relative to health, environmental standards, and requirements for licensure or permits.
